Difficult Dinner is a food performance created to explore and question eating habits, etiquette and behaviors. Aim of the project is to rediscover and redesign the act of eating together in a playful, fun and communicative way.
The participants are given the task, to feed other people in different ways, from foreign plates, following the given color codes. Due to the unusual and overlapping movements, communication is necessary and the participants are forced to act and react with each other. The mutual feeding creates an intimate relationship, especially when completely strange people come together at the table. It is not uncommon for the participants to find themselves in a funny situation reminiscent of the skill game Twister.
